What is needed to develop effective online or e-learning?
Teaching remotely is different to in person delivery and therefore careful consideration of how best to work with students is needed. The onset of COVID-19 has meant many classroom based teachers have had to switch to remote learning.
We provide five, evidence based tools to use when teaching remotely.
- Flipped classroom – introduce the topic to students before the course, work through it during the lesson and then assign further reading or projects relating to the topic to be completed after the lesson

Online delivery is a useful means of teaching students and with the impact of COVID-19 it has become an integrated part of learning.
